Empowered by her commitment to feminism and female-driven narratives, Kayti Reaves is a practicing artist whose work explores the complexity of women’s lives. A lifelong love of literature grounds her passion for the visual arts; throughout her life, it has offered her insight into the complexities of womanhood. Building on this literary and feminist foundation, Kayti’s work creates space to honor the overlooked and often stigmatized aspects of the feminine.

For Kayti, art, literature, and education are vital tools for amplifying the systemically silenced voices of women. Kayti is a current BFA candidate in Painting at Auburn University, where she is a senior on the Dean’s List. Inspired by the transformative impact of her teachers, she plans to pursue a master’s in Art Education, with a commitment to fostering spaces of affirmation and growth. Through teaching, she hopes to extend the same support she has received in her educational journey, providing her future students with a space of both creativity and community.
